Valentine Unbaked Poppy Cake With Walnuts And Flax Seeds
- 9/16 pound ladyfingers
- 1 3/4 cups poppy seeds
- 3/4 cup walnuts
- 1 cup sugar powdered
- 1 11/16 tablespoons rum
- 1 9/16 cups mascarpone
- 2 Orange for juice
- 1 lemon for juice
- 4 tablespoons flax seeds
- 5 tablespoons marmalade sour-sweet
- 7/8 cup dark chocolate
- 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons walnuts ground
- 5 tablespoons sugar powdered
- Grind poppy and nuts then add them to mascarpone mixed with sugar. Combine with rum, flax seeds and orange-lemon juice.
- Make a layer of ladyfingers on the cake mould, then spread the poppy cream on it, repeat one more time. Allow it to harden for 7-10 minutes in the freezer. (Hint: if ladyfingers are thick, drizzle them with orange juice).
- After hardening, carefully remove side form of the cake mould, if needed, move a knife around circumference of the cake to free it from the mould. Spread marmalade (I used the red currant home-made one). Drizzle with chocolate, which before you broke it into pieces and melted with coconut oil on very low heat.
- Decorative HEART : before, cut out the heart from the hard paper or baking foil paper, put the paper on circular form of the cake mould, fit it gently on the half-solidified cake with chocolate glaze, be careful not to touch sides of the cake. Sprinkle with a mixture of nuts and flax seeds through a sieve with large holes, then remove the paper form without touching the cake. Let the cake solidify in the refrigerator. Decorate edges of the heart with mascacpone mixed with sugar using pastry bag with a decorative tip. Leave the cake in the refrigerator overnight and cut the next day.
