French Toast With Apples, Pomegranate, & Greek Yogurt.
- 2 apples
- cinnamon
- butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/3 ounce maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- 1/2 cup almond slivers
- 6 slices bread stale, or brioche
- 1 pomegranate
- greek yogurt
- Cut apples into slices, mix with a pinch cinnamon.
- Brown in butter until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, add milk and maple syrup. Mix.
- Add the orange blossom water.
- Dip the bread slices in the mix until completely saturated.
- Remove gently.
- Place the almond slivers on the bread.
- Cook the bread slices in a hot, buttered pan. Brown a few minutes.
- Place the toast on a plate, top with apples, and a spoonful of Greek yogurt. Scatter with pomegranate seeds.
- Pour on a generous amount of maple syrup.
