Chalupa

  1. Soak beans overnight.
  2. Cut meat into 2 inch chunks.
  3. Brown pork in large pot.
  4. Add onion and garlic and cook until limp.
  5. Add 6 cups of water, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and green chilies.
  6. Drain beans and add to pork.
  7. Cover and simmer 2 to 3 hours until beans are tender.
  8. Remove meat and let cool.
  9. Shred meat at this time and return to beans.
  10. Add salt and pepper.
  11. Heat and serve.
