Chicken Breasts With Farinheira Sausage
- 6 mushrooms
- 3 chicken breasts
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 farinheira or sausage
- 7/8 cup mozzarella cheese half a pack
- Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Thoroughly wash the mushrooms, dry them with kitchen paper and cut them into thin slices, distributing them on a baking tray.
- Cut the chicken breasts in half and place them over top of the mushrooms. Sprinkle with the lemon juice and season with a pinch of salt. Just use a little, since the sausage will provide more seasoning
- Open the sausage, remove the skin and cover the chicken breasts with the filling.
- Put a lot of mozzarella cheese over top of the sausage and chicken.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, until it is well toasted. Serve accompanied with white rice.
