Orange & Poppy Seed Muffin Smoothie
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/8 teaspoon grated orange finely, plus more to taste
- 2 orange medium, peeled and seeded
- 1 bananas medium
- 1/2 cup unsalted cashews
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Place all the ingredients except for the poppy seeds and ice in the blender jar of the KitchenAid(R) Pro Line(R) Series Blender. Secure the lid and set the Blender to the Adapti-BlendTM Smoothie program. Blend until machine turns itself off. Alternatively, blend for 40-60 seconds, starting on speed 1 and gradually increasing to speed 10 or 11, until smooth and creamy.
- Add the poppy seeds and ice, and blast again on high (speed 10 or 11) for 10-20 seconds until chilled.
- Serve immediately.
