Cheezy Cream Of Chicken And Broccoli Soup
- 1 (2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cooked, deboned and diced with broth or 1 (12 oz.) can white chicken meat
- 4 Tbsp. chicken soup base, dissolved in broth (cook chicken with 1 1/2 qt. water to make that broth)
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli or 1 bunch fresh broccoli, finely chopped
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- white pepper to taste
- 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
- milk (to desired consistency)
- Cook chicken in 1 1/2 cups water; add chicken base (can be bought at Sam's Wholesale Club), and cook until well done.
- Cool and debone.
- Add all other ingredients, except Cheez Whiz and milk.
- Cook 15 minutes on medium.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, to be sure that it is not sticking to the pot.
