Healthy Whole Wheat Cupcakes (Low Fat Diet)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons stevia or Jaggery
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- fruit
- honey for topping, optional
- Preheat your oven on 350u0b0F for 5-10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, Stevia (or jaggery), honey, raw cocoa powder, egg, oil, water, almond milk and baking powder. Then beat (or whisk) until the mixture is light. (Note: If the mixture becomes dry, consider adding more water or another egg.)
- Pour the mixture into the cupcake cups and place them in the cupcake tray. If you're not using the paper cupcake cups, then brush the cupcake tray with oil and then pour the mixture into it.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. You can check if the cupcakes are baked by inserting a toothpick into them and feeling them. Once baked, allow them to cool for a few seconds and then take them out on a plate. Top them with honey, fruits and nuts and then take a bite of healthy goodness!
