Hearty Baked Macaroni(Health Conscious)

  1. In a small bowl, combine tomato puree, water, Italian seasonings and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
  2. In another bowl, combine cottage cheese, onion powder and the remaining garlic powder.
  3. Spray with vegetable cooking spray a 9 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish.
  4. Spoon 1/3 of the tomato mixture in the dish. Layer 1/2 of the macaroni, all of the cheese mixture, 1/3 of the tomato mixture, the remaining 1/2 of the macaroni, then the remaining 1/3 of the tomato mixture.
  5. Cover; bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
  6. Uncover; top with Mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake, uncovered, until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
  8. Let stand before serving.
