Baked Mac And Cheese With Ham
- 4 3/4 cups macaroni
- 7 ounces button mushrooms
- 1 5/8 cups cherry tomatoes halved
- 5 1/4 ounces smoked ham cut into strips
- 1/2 cup fresh flat leaf parsley little reserved for garnish, remainder finely chopped
- 1 cup soured cream
- 1 cup single cream
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 2 cups Parmesan grated
- 3 1/2 tablespoons butter diced
- Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Cook the pasta and mushrooms in boiling salted water for 5 mins. Drain and place in a greased ovenproof serving dish along with the tomatoes, ham and parsley. Mix the sour cream, cream, lemon juice and nutmeg in a bowl. Season with salt and black pepper and pour into the dish with the pasta. Sprinkle with the cheese and butter. Bake for 45 mins and garnish with parsley.
