Fruity Blueberry Strawberry Pulav

  1. Wash 1 cup basmati rice and soak it in water for half an hour. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan, and add cumin seeds. When the seeds start to crackle, add black pepper powder. Now add blueberry puree, along with half cup of water, salt and rice. Cover the pan with a lid, and cook it on medium heat until rice is cooked well. Add more water if needed. When rice is cooked, add 1/2 tsp lemon juice, and stir well. Remove Blueberry Pulav from heat, and keep aside.

Now add strawberry puree, along with half cup of water, salt and rice. Cover the pan with a lid, and cook it on medium heat, until rice is cooked well. Add more water if needed. When rice is cooked, add 1/2 tsp lemon juice, and stir well. Remove Strawberry Pulav from heat, and keep aside.
  3. Take a bowl of your choice. Add 3 tbsp blueberry pulav to form layer 1 and press it well. Now add 2 tbsp strawberry pulav to form layer 2, and press well again. For layer 3, again add 3 tbsp blueberry pulav, and press well. Transfer your rice bowl carefully to the serving palate, to keep its shape. Fruity Blueberry Strawberry Pulav is ready. Serve hot with any favorite Raita or Curry. Enjoy!
