Margaret'S Very Easy Lasagna
- 12 oz. box lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 15 oz. no-fat cottage cheese
- 2 eggs or 3 whites
- salt and pepper to taste
- parsley flakes to taste
- Brown beef; drain.
- Add sauce and water (swished in jar). Simmer 10 minutes.
- Mix 3 cheeses, eggs, parsley and seasonings in bowl. Spread 1/2 cup of sauce on bottom of a 9 x 12-inch glass casserole dish.
- Layer 1/3 of noodles next.
- Follow in order with 1 1/2 cups sauce, 1/2 cheese mix, 1/3 noodles, 1 1/2 cups sauce, cheese, 1/3 noodles and rest of sauce.
- Cover with aluminum foil. Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 50 minutes.
- Uncover; bake 10 more minutes, if needed.
