Sweet And Sour Pork Chops

  1. Brown chops in shortening.
  2. Remove chops to a greased baking dish.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add carrots.
  5. In saucepan, combine lemon juice, honey, onion, soy sauce, bouillon and half the pineapple syrup.
  6. In small bowl, mix remaining pineapple juice and cornstarch until smooth; stir into lemon juice mixture.
  7. Cook, stirring, until thickened; pour over chops.
  8. Cover; bake in 350u0b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until tender.
  9. Add pineapple chunks; top each chop with a pepper ring.
  10. Bake, covered, 10 minutes longer.
