Coffee Bundt Cake
- 3 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/8 cups granulated sugar
- 9/16 cup butter
- 6 3/4 tablespoons milk
- 4 teaspoons instant coffee
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- salt
- 6 7/8 tablespoons cream cheese
- 7/8 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons espresso
- cocoa powder
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Place the eggs, flour, granulated sugar, butter, milk, coffee, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a bowl and using the electric mixer, first on low speed, beat all the ingredients together. Switch to high speed and beat until the batter is creamy and smooth.
- Pour the batter into a buttered and floured 25-centimeter bundt cake pan.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake on a wire rack.
- Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and espresso with the electric mixer until the mixture is creamy.
- Pour the icing onto the cake and sprinkle with the cocoa powder.
