15 Minute Baked Camembert Topped With Berries & Walnuts
- 1 wheel Camembert Cheese
- 1/2 cup muscovado sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup blueberries & Blackberries
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Pre-heat the oven to 180c.
- Sprinkle two tablespoons of sugar on top of the cheese wheel and place in the oven for approximately 10 minutes until the sugar has melted and caramelized.
- In the mean time, place the butter in a pan and on a low heat, allow to melt before adding the remaining sugar and walnuts.
- Stir together for approximately 3-4 minutes, allowing for the sugar to melt and the walnuts to be fully coated. Remove from the pan and leave to cool.
- In a seperate pan, add the honey and vinegar and allow to heat before carefully folding in the berries. Set aside.
- Remove the Camembert from the oven, pour over the candied walnuts before adding the honey and balsamic glazed berries.
- Sit back, cut into this pile of heavenly, decadent goodness and enjoy!
