Crabmeat Spread Or Dip
- 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
- dash of lemon juice
- dash of garlic powder
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
- 1 bottle cocktail sauce
- 1 can crabmeat, finely shredded
- chopped fresh parsley
- Combine the cream cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce and Miracle Whip or mayonnaise. Spread in the bottom of a very shallow dish; refrigerate until firm (about 1 hour).
- Spread cocktail sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture, leaving approximately 1/2-inch edge around outside.
- Sprinkle crabmeat over cocktail sauce.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley over crabmeat.
- Chill for a couple of hours.
- Serve with Triscuits or strong chips.
