Elena’S Eggs Au Gratin
- 10 eggs
- 1 shallot small, chopped
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic fresh
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon tomato flakes Sun-dried
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon garlic pepper seasoning
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Finely grated
- Pre-heat oven to 375o then butter up a 8x8in. pan
- Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Working only with the egg whites in a separate bowl, whisk together the whites, heavy cream, shallots, garlic & herbs.
- Assemble in order; Add yolks to buttered pan and pour egg whites mixture over the yolks. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and parm cheese over the mixture.
- Place in 3rd rack of the oven and let bake uncovered 30min
- Divide and serve with ciabatta bread & ENJOY!
