Chicken Taco Casserole
- 1 fryer
- 2 small cans diced green chilies
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 pkg. taco flavored Doritos
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 2 c. grated cheese
- Cook fryer until tender.
- Remove from bone.
- Cut into pieces. Saute onion in margarine until clear.
- Combine chicken, onion, soups and broth.
- Heat but do not boil.
- Stir in sour cream and chilies.
- Put a layer of Doritos in bottom of large casserole dish. Pour half of mixture over Doritos.
- Sprinkle 1 cup cheese over mixture.
- Put another layer of Doritos over this and pour remaining chicken mixture over top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
- Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
