Sirloin Steak With Horseradish Cream
- 42 ounces sirloin steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves chopped
- horseradish cream
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon horseradish cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 bunch watercress leaves picked, washed
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- lemon wedges to serve
- Place steaks in a shallow dish. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with thyme. Season then set aside for 15 mins.
- Preheat a grill plate over high heat. Cook steaks for 4-5 mins per side for medium, or until cooked to your liking. Let rest, covered loosely with foil, for 10 mins.
- Meanwhile, to make the horseradish cream, whip cream to soft peaks. Fold in horseradish and lemon juice. Season. Set aside.
- In a bowl, toss watercress with extra virgin olive oil. Season.
- Serve steaks with horseradish cream and watercress salad. Garnish with lemon wedges.
