Beef Barley Soup

  1. Brown and drain ground beef.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except carrots and potatoes; simmer 1 hour.
  3. Add remaining vegetables and simmer another 20 minutes.
  4. (A quart of whole tomatoes can be substituted for tomato soup and sauce.)
