Bean And Turkey Soup
- 2 c. chopped, cooked turkey breast
- 2 c. canned tomatoes (no juice)
- 1 c. canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 c. canned pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 c. canned black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 c. canned garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 c. frozen whole kernel corn
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 (16 oz.) cans chicken broth
- 1 (12 oz.) can lite beer
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- sausage (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven; bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 2 hours.
