Beef Chili Without Beans

  1. Place cumin seed in a pie pan and toast in a 375u0b0 oven for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove and set aside.
  3. Heat a 6-quart kettle and saute the bacon until clear.
  4. Add the diced meat and brown over high heat along with the onions, garlic and jalapenos.
  5. When the meat is brown and the onion clear, add the remaining ingredients. Crush the tomatoes and add along with the juice.
  6. Simmer for 1 hour and add any additional seasoning.
