Turkey Casserole
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1/2 to 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 lb. ground turkey, cooked
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 6 oz. uncooked egg noodles
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 8 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 pinch oregano
- 1 pinch garlic
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- Saute onion, pepper and celery in butter.
- Add turkey, salt, oregano, garlic and sugar.
- Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Simmer 15 minutes.
- Place uncooked noodles in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.
- Pour mixture over it. Top with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
