Spring Delight

  1. Drain the canned pineapple and reserve the juice
  2. Combine the 2 packages of Jello with 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of reserved pineapple juice
  3. Place in fridge to set
  4. Chop cherries and nuts
  5. Whip cream
  6. Remove set Jello and beat with a hand mixer
  7. To the Jello add the whipped cream, nuts, cherries and pineapple
  8. Mix well
  9. Add the marshmallows and stir to combine
  10. Into a 9 x 13 dish break up the angel food cake into small chunks
  11. Layer the Jello/marshmallow mixture over cake
  12. Garnish with chopped nuts
  13. Place in fridge till ready to use
