Chocolate Goody Bars
- 1 pkg. (1 lb. 3.8 oz.) Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tub BC Rich & Creamy vanilla ready-to-spread frosting
- 3/4 cup salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
- 3 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 bag (12 oz.) Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease (or use cooking spray) bottom of rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches.
- Stir brownie mix, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl until well blended.
- Spread in pan.
- Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean.
- Cool completely;
- frost with frosting.
- Sprinkle with peanuts; refrigerate while making cereal mixture.
