Roast Pork Shoulder In Black Beer
- 1 pork shoulder
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 oranges juice
- olive oil
- 2 onions chopped
- 6 parsley sprigs chopped
- 6 garlic cloves sliced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- salt
- 1 beer black
- Make deep cuts in one side of the pork shoulder.
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, except the beer, in a bowl. Mix well.
- Add the pork shoulder, and rub marinade into flesh. Cover the bowl, and marinate for 2 hours.
- Heat a high sided skillet with a little olive oil.
- When the oil is hot, brown the meat, without the marinade, on both sides for a few minutes.
- Add marinade, and sprinkle with the beer. Bring to boil, lower heat, and simmer for 1/2 hour, turning the meat occasionally. Remove meat from pan.
- Cut the meat into chunks and remove the bone, put back in the pan, bring to boil again, and simmer for another 10 to 15 minutes.
