Poutine Potatoes

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 Celsius.
  2. Place the french fries into a baking pan and bake until crispy. Remove from oven.
  3. Fry the bacon until golden. Remove half the bacon from the pan and drain the excess grease from the pan.
  4. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until the onion is transparent. Add the bear and cook until it simmers, approximately 2 minutes.
  5. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water. Add to the pan and stir until a thick gravy is formed, approximately 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese over the french fries, top with gravy and the bacon.
