Pumpkin And Apple Crumble
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter cold, and cut into pieces
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup apple puree without sugar
- 400 grams pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs at room temperature, lightly beaten
- In a bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon.
- Then add the butter and mix with your fingertips until the mixture is crumbled and brittle.
- Refrigerate while making the dough.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Grease and flour a rectangular bread pan.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
- In another large bowl, mix the oil, apple, vanilla, pumpkin, and both sugars until well combined.
- Beat the eggs.
- Add the flour mixture to pumpkin mixture, and stir, but not too much, just enough to mix.
- Pour the batter into the pan, and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with topping and, bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Let cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes.
