Sweet-N-Sour Meatballs

  1. Mix hamburg, bread crumbs, milk, chopped onion, salt, Worcestershire sauce and egg.
  2. Shape into 20 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Cook meatballs in skillet; remove and drain fat.
  3. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in skillet.
  4. Stir in pineapple (with syrup), vinegar and soy sauce.
  5. Heat to boiling, stirring.
  6. Reduce heat; add meatballs.
  7. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in green pepper and cherries (without syrup). Cover and simmer until crisp-tender, 5 minutes.
  9. Makes 4 servings.
