Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

  1. Preheat the oven to 420u0b0F and lightly grease a baking sheet with coconut oil or use parchment paper
  2. Cut the sweet potatoes into thin, uniform fries so that they cook evenly. If cut too thick, their texture will be soggy.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sweet potatoes, coconut oil, chili powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Use your hands to evenly coat the potatoes with the spices.
  4. Add sea salt to taste, as well as the arrowroot, and mix well again with your hands
  5. Spread the fries out in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, or until crispy and brown on one side. Carefully turn the fries over using a spatula, and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, until all are crispy on the outside and tender inside.
