Meatballs In Tomato Sauce
- 9/16 pound ground beef
- 9/16 pound ground pork
- 2 7/8 cups white bread crust trimmed
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 parsley
- 3 cups tomato puree
- 1 onion
- 1 cup white wine
- 3/4 cup white flour
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tablespoon rosemary chopped
- Cut Into small pieces the white bread Without the crust and soften in the milk.
- In a bowl combine meat, soaked white bread , garlic, parmesan cheese, the egg, salt, pepper and chopped parsley. With a fork mix everything, you can help yourself with your hands, form into balls possibly all the same size, coat into white flour, fry them, drain them from olive oil, Add the white wine let reduce quickly .
- In a large saucepan fry the onion and add tomato sauce, lower the gas flame and simmer slowly. Dip the meatballs , they should be immersed by the sauce (if need add a small bit of water) shouldn't be very dense. Cook about 15 minutes taste if the salt is ok. Put the tablespoon of rosemary and cook for other 5 minutes .
