Quick Shrimp Curry
- 1 pound shrimps
- salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 onions medium thinely sliced
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 1 tomato small chopped finely
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon masala Curry
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
- Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds,add sliced onions.
- Fry til golden brown,add curry leaves and then add in the ginger garlic paste and fry well.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and saute well.
- Add the spices,pour in the coconut milk and saute for 2 mins.
- Wait till the mixture oozes oil.
- Dump in the shrimps and saute well in both sides.
- Add a cup of water and cover it and cook for 15 mins and your soft delicious shrimp is ready to eat.(Do not overcook).
- Serve it with bread or rice.
