Quick And Easy Paella
- Crisco Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1/3 cup Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast diced
- 6 ounces smoked sausage fully cooked, about 2 small links, diced
- salt
- pepper
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes drained
- 8 ounces peeled shrimp uncooked
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup rice mix saffron, uncooked
- 3 ounces sliced mushrooms drained
- 1/2 envelope onion soup mix 1/4 cup
- paprika
- HEAT oven to 350u0b0F. Spray a 3-quart casserole dish that has a lid with no-stick cooking spray.
- HEAT oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken and sausage. Cook and stir until chicken is lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- ADD chicken broth, tomatoes, shrimp, peas, rice mix, mushrooms and onion soup mix. Bring to a boil. Place in prepared casserole. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Cover.
- BAKE about 1 hour or until rice is done.
