Lasagne
- 1 large can whole tomatoes (28 oz.)
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 to 2 lb. ground beef (lean)
- oregano and garlic powder to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb. pkg. lasagne noodles
- 1 small container cottage cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- small amount olive oil
- Brown ground beef. Drain and simmer with tomatoes, tomato paste and spices.
- Stir often.
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
- Boil lasagne noodles according to package directions until soft.
- Drain and add olive oil to keep noodles from sticking.
- Grease a large casserole dish and arrange a layer of noodles on the bottom, then a layer of sauce, cottage cheese (all), more noodles and more sauce.
- Layer noodles and sauce until gone and top with cheese. Bake until brown on top.
