Peach Cobbler Filling

  1. In 2-quart casserole, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and pumpkin pie spice.
  2. Stir in water.
  3. Cook, uncovered, at HIGH power for 1 minute, stirring after 30 seconds, till mixture is thickened and bubby.
  4. Add peaches; heat again, covered, at HIGH power for 5 minutes, till fruit mixture is boiling hot.
  5. In the meantime mix the cobbler topping*.
  6. When the fruit is hot, spoonthe topping into 5 or 6 mounds around the edges of the casserole.
  7. Mix the 2 teaspoons of sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle it over the dumplings.
  8. Cover the casserole and cook on HIGH power for 4 minutes or til the dumplings are done.
