Apple Spice Cookies; A Recipe For Comfort When The Air Turns Chilly
- 1 cup baking mix All Purpose, or Jiffy Mix
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 teaspoons chinese 5 spice
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/3 cup apple sauce
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup apples chopped, try McIntosh
- 1 cup Craisins optional
- Cream together Coconut Oil and brown sugar.
- Then add apple sauce and vinegar.
- Fold in Baking Mix and Russian Mulling Spice until dampened.
- Mixture will be very thick.
- Stir in almond flour, apples and raisins.
- Drop by tablespoon 2 inches apart on a lightly parchment lined sheet.
- Bake 12 to 16 minutes in a 350 degree F oven.
- Let cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet.
