Savory Sundried Tomato Rolls
- 1 1/4 tablespoons dry yeast
- milk 15 cl. warm
- 2 cups flour
- 2 2/3 tablespoons icing sugar
- 13/16 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sundried tomato pesto
- 6 slices prosciutto
- 6 7/8 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon sundried tomato pesto
- In the electric mixer bowl combine the yeast with the milk.
- Add flour, powdered sugar, salt, and olive oil.
- Knead for 7-8 minutes until smooth.
- Let rise for 40 minutes.
- Place the dough on a floured surface, roll out to form a rectangle (not too thin).
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and the sundried tomato pesto.
- Spread the dough this mixture and then roll the dough, lengthwise.
- Cut 2/3 cm slices and arrange them on a round cake pan lined with parchment paper.
- Let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Serve warm.
