Winter Warm-Up Soup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil divided
- 2 Honeysuckle White(R) Traditional Turkey Bratwurst
- 1 cup onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 15 ounces garbanzos drained and rinsed
- 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup frozen green beans
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch chili flakes
- In large soup pot, heat 1 teaspoon oil over medium heat.
- Add bratwurst; cook, covered, about 10 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Remove from pot.
- In same pot, heat remaining oil. Add onions and garlic; cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cut bratwurst into 1/2-inch slices; add bratwurst and remaining ingredients to soup.
- Simmer about 10 minutes.
