Savory Pesto Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Mix the basil, parmesan, pine nuts, and garlic together in a food processor or blender and puree. Add the olive oil. Set aside.
  3. Sift the baking powder and flour together.
  4. Add the eggs to the pesto, mix well, and add the flour mixture. Beat until homogenous.
  5. Stir in the grated cheese and mix well.
  6. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Spread evenly into the pan with a spatula. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven, remove from pan, and cool on a rack before serving.
