Best Italian Spaghetti Meat Sauce
- 2 lb. sliced mushrooms
- 4 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 6 lb. onions, finely chopped
- 10 medium green bell peppers, chopped very fine
- 1 c. Italian seasoning spice mix
- 1 c. olive oil
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 6 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 c. Italian seasoning spice mix
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. minced garlic
- 2 (No. 10) cans Hunt's pizza sauce
- 2 (No. 10) cans Ragu spaghetti sauce
- 4 (No. 10) cans Hunt's Angela Mia spaghetti sauce
- Rinse the first 4 ingredients well.
- Saute them with the next 3 ingredients until extremely crystallized.
- Saute ground chuck, spice mix and 1 cup vegetable oil until brown; pour off grease. Next add garlic.
- Mix together with vegetables.
- Warm last 3 ingredients in a large pot to approximately 180u0b0, stirring constantly.
- Add all ingredients and stir.
- Add 2 tablespoons flaked red pepper and stir.
- Turn off the heat, touch the bottom of the pot gently with a spoon.
- If the spoon sticks, check for possible burning.
- Use burn precaution method.
- Place the covered pot in the walk-in to cool.
