Vegan Tomatoes & Basil Tartelettes
- 200 g of all purpose flour (~1 cup and 1/2)
- a handful of oats (petits flocons d'avoine)
- 1 Tbsp of chia seeds (optional)
- 1/2 Tbsp of Rosemary (optional)
- 1/2 Tbsp of thym (optional)
- 1 tsp of cumin (optional)
- ~2 fench Tbsp (~ 2 TBSP & 1/2) of olive oil
- splash of water until desired texture
- Tomatoes
- salt
- pepper
- basil
- Pre-heat the oven at 200 Cu0b0 = 392 Fu0b0
- In a large bowl mix the flour, the oats, the chia seeds and the spicy and herbs (optional)
- Add the olive oil and mix
- (optional) leave to rest in the fridge for 15 minutes
- roll up the dough, and prepare you tartelettes (about 4) or one big pie
- (optional) on the bottom of the tartelette add 1/2 Tbsp of vegan pesto and 1/2 Tbsp of candied onion (1 petite cuillere de chaque for french ;) )
- slice the tomatoes and fill in you tartelette
- sprinkel each tartelette with a bit of salt and pepper and basil
- Keep some basil leaves for decoration
- put in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes and Enjoy :)
