CruditéS And Tortilla Chips With Dips
- 1 avocado small ripe, peeled and stone removed
- 1/2 lemon juice only
- 1 clove garlic peeled and minced
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 tomato quartered, deseeded and diced
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1/2 red bell pepper deseeded and cut into sticks
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper deseeded and cut into sticks
- 1/3 pound carrots peeled and cut into sticks
- tortilla chips
- parsley sprigs to garnish
- Mash the avocado in a bowl with the lemon juice, garlic, sugar and hot sauce. Season. In a separate bowl, mix the chopped tomato with the salsa.
- Arrange the peppers, carrots and tortilla chips on a platter and garnish with parsley. Serve with the two dips.
