Chicken Dressing Casserole

  1. Brown chicken pieces in shortening.
  2. Melt margarine.
  3. Saute 1 cup chopped celery and onion until tender.
  4. Mix well with 2 cups of white bread crumbs and cornbread crumbs.
  5. Add seasonings.
  6. Add enough water to make as moist as you desire.
  7. Place dressing in a large baking dish.
  8. Arrange chicken over dressing.
  9. Make a gravy from drippings where chicken was browned.
  10. Blend with remaining 1/2 can chicken soup.
  11. Add water to make 2 cups.
  12. Pour gravy over chicken and dressing.
  13. Bake 1 hour at 350u0b0.
