Chocolate Cookies

  1. Chop the chocolate finely.
  2. Sift the flour with the cocoa and the baking soda.
  3. Cream the butter and add the two types of sugar, salt, and the vanilla.
  4. Add the chopped chocolate.
  5. Knead the dough as little as possible and shape it into loaves, approximately 4 centimeters in thickness.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 170C.
  8. Slice the loaves into 1 centimeter slices and place the cookies on a wax paper lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 11 to 12 minutes.
