Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs

  1. For marinade, combine soy sauce, honey, onion powder, garlic powder and ginger. Set aside 1/4 cup
  2. Add chicken and refrigerate 30 minutes (up to 1 hour)
  3. Cut red pepper, red onion and pineapple (if necessary) into 1 inch pieces
  4. If using bamboo skewers, soak while chicken marinates
  5. Preheat grill to a medium heat
  6. Prepare skewers by adding red pepper, onion, pineapple and chicken. Repeat the pattern until all chicken is skewered
  7. Oil grill well and place kabobs over medium heat. Grill 6-7 minutes
  8. Baste and turn over to grill 6-7 minutes more. Baste again
  9. *larger chicken pieces may require more time
