Carmelitas Bar

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F/175C
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and butter. Mix until a crumbly consistency
  3. Line a 9x13 bakin pan with parchment paper + lightly coat with a nonstick spray
  4. Pour 1./2 of the mixture onto the pan and save the other half
  5. Pour 2 cups of choc chips over the misture
  6. In a saucepan melt the caramels and add the heavy cream until its smooth
  7. Pour it over the mixture until the choc chips are covered
  8. Pour the rest of the oat mixture then the rest of the choc chips
  9. Bake for 20-25 mins or until crust has turned golden brown
  10. Cool down and cut into bars
