Deva Naturals Kaalae Cholae

  1. Saute Ginger & Onion, with dry ingredients in 2 Tbs. of Olive oil.
  2. Add to the soaked Chick peas.
  3. Close Pressure cooker and cook on on high till you hear the pressure and then turn down to medium heat/flame and continue to cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Open Pressure Cooker carefully when the pressure/steam is completely out, (this may take up to 1/2 hr).
  5. Saute chopped ripe tomatoes in 1 Tbs. olive oil.
  6. Add the Deva Naturals Spicy Cilantro Compote.
  7. Mix with the cooked chickpeas and give it a quick boil.
  8. Serve hot over steamed brown or white rice.
  9. Garnish with a sprig or two of cilantro.
