Kande Pohe

  1. Soak poha in water. After 5 minutes drain the water and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add mustard seeds, asafetida and curry leaves.
  4. Add chopped onions and saute till they become translucent.
  5. Now add potatoes, chillies and turmeric powder.
  6. Cover the pan and let the potatoes cook.
  7. After 10 minutes add the soaked poha.
  8. Add salt and sugar to it.
  9. If you feel that the poha seems to be bit dry you can sprinkle some water from top.
  10. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
  11. Add lemon juice and mix everything well.
  12. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve it hot with a slice of lemon.
