Lightified Asian-Style Chicken And Mushrooms In Soy Sauce
- 1 chicken big and lean, /turkey breast
- 1 can shiitake mushrooms
- 1 can white button mushrooms or fresh
- 1 onion
- spices
- light soy sauce I used all natural soy sauce alternative Bragg's liquid aminos, with the same taste even without adding calories; highly recommended and available at iHerb using my discount code: GWL668
- pasta optional: asian or wholemeal, /noodles
- First, chop your onion, spread some drops of olive oil in a pan or wok and saute until translucent.
- Cup up the meat and drain the mushrooms in the meanwhile.
- Once the onion is poached, add the chicken and mushrooms and keep cooking and stirring to medium-high heat until everything looks nicely brown.
- Finally, drizzle some soy sauce (or alternative) and season to taste (you don't need to add any salt because the sauce is salty enough). Cook and stir for a couple of minutes until combined and serve.
- You can serve the chicken and mushrooms on a bed of pasta or noodles, up to your taste. Just cook it according to the directions on the packaging, drain and 1) add it to the pan before serving to mix it all or 2) serve and pour the chicken, muchrooms and sauce over it. Whatever you choose, chinese food rocks and lightified chinese food rocks to Pekin and back!
