The Housewife Diary Chicken Cordon Bleu
- 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 4 slices cooked ham
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 8 slices bacon
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0 F. Grease baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Pound chicken breasts to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Spread each breast with garlic then place 1 cheese slice and 1 ham slice on top of each.
- Roll up each breast and wrap chicken with 1-2 slices of bacon. Bacon will keep chicken from unraveling.
- Place in baking dish sprinkle with parsley and paprika then bake for approximately 30 to 35 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink.
- Broil on high for approximately 3-5 minutes until bacon is browned, and Voila!
