Chocolate Oatmeal Brownies
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. quick oats
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. cocoa (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. vanilla chips, melted
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Beat butter, peanut butter and sugars until creamy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until well blended.
- Combine oats, flour, cocoa and soda in separate bowl.
- Gradually add to peanut butter mixture.
- Blend well.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- (Do not overbake.)
- Cool for 15 minutes.
- Drizzle with vanilla chips, melted over brownies.
- You may need to add 1 to 2 tablespoons melted butter to thin vanilla chips.
